Refuah Health Center

The Refuah Health Center is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that follows the requirements of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. They also receive funding from HHS (U.S. Department of Health & Human Services), and they do treatments more than 70,000 patients annually. Their main objective is to provide high quality, comprehensive and affordable health service to underserved populations of Rockland, Sullivan, Orange, and Ulster Counties.

The Refuah Health Center offers all kinds of medical services, including Adult Primary Care, Dentistry, Behavioral and Mental Health, Optometry, Radiology, Otolaryngology, Rehabilitation, Gastroenterology, General Surgery, Otolaryngology services, Physical Exams, Cardiology, OB/GYN, Dermatology, Pediatrics, Podiatry, treatments for kidney diseases and many more treatments for medical conditions to the community for an affordable fee. 

The Refuah Health Center has more than 200 well trained, well qualified, friendly, and dedicated medical professionals in their four facilities. Also, their facilities are very modern and using the most current treatment and methods for their patients. Above all, they have 29 departments to serve their patients. 

What are the General Surgery Services, the Refuah Health Center provides?

They provide General Surgery Services for their patients. Such as Hernia repair surgery, Cholecystectomy surgery, Weight-loss surgery, and many related General Surgeries.

What are the Dental services, the Refuah Health Center provides?

They provide dental services for adult or children and specialize in pediatric dental services, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Periodontics, and Endodontics.

They use modern technology for dental services. Such as,

• Digital X-Rays for real-time reports.
• Nitrous Oxide for reducing the anxieties of the patient.

Namely, treatments for Upper aerodigestive tract and esophageal, Chronic cough, Sinusitis, Hearing loss, Ear wax accumulation, Vertigo, and other all kinds of necessary Otolaryngology treatments.

They provide professional assistance for a wide range of conditions of Behavioral and Mental Health including Anxiety, attention deficit disorder, Trauma, chronic and acute Depression, Stress and other all kinds of necessary Behavioral Health treatments.

What are the Optometry services they provide?

The Refuah Health Center do proper vision and eye exam. Also, provide Optometry treatments. For instance, Diabetic Retinopathy Screen, Cataract Treatments and Glaucoma Treatments, and many more Optometry services. Also, they have the full-service optical shop which has a large selection of specs frames for all ages.

They usually open at 7.30 am every day for their business and close at 12.30 am weekdays and weekends although the opening and closing time may vary according to the location and service. Appointments for the patient are not necessary. However, they highly encourage you to make an appointment, and it may shorten your waiting time.
